Dear colleagues and friends:
On behalf of the Organizing Committee and on my own behalf, we are pleased to present the 4th EANS Trauma and Critical Care Update Meeting to take place in Madrid on 22-23 February 2024. Following three highly successful meetings (Lund 2018, Messina 2019 and Leuven 2022) the section has decided to maintain an annual update meeting.
The section panel has endeavored to organize a meeting that will once again meet your expectations by providing a comprehensive update on various aspects of Neurotrauma. This time, we will also include specific sections on less frequently covered subjects such as pediatric neurotrauma or cerebrovascular trauma, or new forms or tools for research, without neglecting the most important aspects of brain and spinal cord trauma. We have gathered great experts from different medical and surgical specialties to address these diverse subjects.
The meeting will also include the first part of a crash course on neurotrauma (21st of Feb) organized by the section and dedicated to all of you that may want to be introduced to this exciting world.
Discounts are available for EANS members, Trauma and Critical Care Section members, trainees and colleagues from low- and middle-income countries. We really want the course and meeting to be accessible to all of you.
With the hope that you will be able to enjoy the 4th EANS Trauma and Critical Care Update Meeting and wishing you to feel at home, we encourage you to participate in all the scientific activities and not to miss this great opportunity to meet us in Madrid.
