Call for abstracts!

The Organizing & Scientific Committee of the 4th EANS Trauma and Critical Care Update Meeting welcomes the submission of original abstracts for ePosters that would be included in the electronic ePoster area.

Delegates who would like to present their work at the 4th EANS Trauma and Critical Care Update Meeting are invited to submit an abstract before 29th January 2024. Please read the following instructions carefully before preparing your abstract:

ABSTRACT FORM

  1. Abstracts can only be submitted in English and with title (max. 20 words) and abstract text (max. 350 words) including appropriate sections (introduction, materials, results and conclusions)
  2. No more than two abstracts would be considered for each delegate.
  3. All abstracts must be relevant to the meeting topic.
  4. It is important that you read your text to ensure accuracy with no spelling, grammatical or scientific errors. No corrections will be accepted after the abstract submission deadline.
  5. Incomplete abstracts will not be reviewed.
  6. Instructions for ePosters preparation will be e-mailed in due course to the submitting authors.

ABSTRACT REVIEW PROCESS

  1. Abstracts will be subjected to a single-blind review process by a panel of international experts in the field.
  2. Each abstract will be scored based on the following criteria: scientific merit, suitable sample size, proper statistical analysis, adherence to instructions, and originality of the work.
  3. The three abstracts with the highest scores would be invited to present their poster through a short communication of 3 minutes during the lunch time of day 1 of the meeting.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The technical secretariat will notify receipt, by e-mail, of the abstracts sent, and will assign an abstract number that will be necessary for consultations. Only abstracts sent via the congress e-mail address will be accepted: info@eanstcc2024.com
